were 1532-Rev. J. Paul and Nancy Carter. They were staying in another
campground but with us most of the time.
Ed Pearson was busy taking people to many shows and seeing that they got back
to the campground. There were many that saw several shows during the rally.
Others came early to see shows before the rally started. Thanks to Ed for all
of his hard work on the transportation.
There was the usual $100 raffle. The $100 was won by Clark Bostwick. The
Chinese auction was a big success with lots of fun and prizes. Thanks to Paula
Karch for her efforts on the auction. There were many others that helped make
the auction a success.
The usual "open house" was very successful with many folks seeing equipment
that could be used in various situations, one had a track system with a moveable
bed that could be moved under the lift then back against the wall, all at the
push of a button.
The "Great American Cookout" was a lot of fun with very good food on Saturday
evening after the Craft Sale and Business Meeting.
Also thanks to Evelyn Albertson (Merle's sister) who came from Cherokee
Village, AR to be with us. Onie Karch and Evelyn made coffee each morning and
Mike Drew made sure the sweets were there on time.
We visited with many old friends and got to know many new members. We look
forward to seeing them again, possible at a rally or just down the road.
The 2004 Rally will be in Toppenish, WA in September. More details later.
There is some talk about maybe Vermont in 2005??? And possibly a mini rally in
Wisconsin in the Spring. More details later.
